We had to earn them all today. Fish are still a little upside down after that big blow but they can be caught close if you fish hard for them.
New crew did great for there first time.

Wicked Eye Charters The Ultimate Fishing Charter Experience from Ohio

Captain Joe Browett is a licensed U.S. Coast Guard Captain, a full-time Lake Erie guide, and a retired firefighter/paramedic with 32 years of service in emergency medicine. His passion for the lake began in childhood, shaped by annual family fishing trips to the western basin that left lifelong memories. Today, Captain Joe draws on his deep local knowledge and extensive public safety background to provide guests with a professional, thoroughly prepared, and safe environment on every run. Fully licensed by the Ohio Division of Wildlife (ODNR) and enrolled in random drug testing programs, Captain Joe prioritizes guest safety, personal comfort, and expert navigation whether guiding seasoned anglers or first-time lake visitors. For Captain Joe, guiding is rooted in creating authentic, stress-free outings where guests of all ages can relax and enjoy the water. He focuses on hands-on instruction, taking the time to teach proper rigging, reel control, and fish handling so everyone on board feels confident. When available, his 19-year-old son, Hunter, steps in as first mate. Having fished Lake Erie since the age of six, Hunter brings exceptional skill to the deck and connects naturally with young anglers, helping kids reel in their catches while keeping the mood light and encouraging throughout the day. Every trip with Captain Joe is backed by a dedication to clean, well-maintained equipment and a hardworking attitude. He continuously monitors changing weather patterns, water clarity, and real-time fish movements across Marblehead, Port Clinton, and Kelleys Island to position his boat over active walleye and yellow perch. Rather than rushing through a routine, Captain Joe focuses on providing clear guidance, sharing regional insight, and delivering a complete, enjoyable Great Lakes experience that leaves guests feeling confident and well-cared-for on the open water.
About the Wicked Eye
The Wicked Eye is a custom 34-foot Albin Catamaran featuring a broad 13-foot beam, making it one of the most stable and comfortable fishing platforms on Lake Erie. Driven by a 300-horsepower turbo diesel engine, this twin-hull design cuts smoothly through choppy lake waters to deliver a steady ride that minimizes boat motion. Outfitted with state-of-the-art GPS, sonar, and radar marine electronics, the vessel accommodates up to six guests with generous elbow room for casting and trolling setups. For added comfort, the Wicked Eye includes a fully enclosed wheelhouse for shelter during cool mornings, a permanent soft-top canopy providing shade over the deck, a private marine restroom, and a cozy cabin space below deck where younger anglers can rest out of the elements.
