These guys were first timers with us and they said their last two charters They hardly caught any fish. Went close where some friends of mine caught good yesterday and the fish were gone we fished for about a half hour and then Hunter and I pulled the gear and went East bound and Down! As soon as we started setting rods it was game over for the walleye! Couldn't keep all the rods in the water at once for the first hour.

Teeming with Walleye and Perch: An Electrifying Day on Lake Erie with Wicked Eye Charters

We had a great day out on the water with Daniel, taking on the Lake Erie Fishing | Walleye And Perch Fishing trip with Wicked Eye Charters. August is prime time for targeting these tasty species, as the warming waters and seasonal patterns bring them close to shore, making for some excellent action. When we met up at Channel Grove Marina Inc. this morning, the weather was a bit overcast, with some early morning rain, but the forecast called for clearing skies later in the day - perfect for a productive day of fishing.

As we headed out, the water conditions were ideal - calm and clear, allowing us to easily spot baitfish and structure that the Walleye and Perch would be holding around. We started the day jigging and trolling, working different depths and areas to see where the fish were most active. It didn't take long before we started hooking into some nice Walleye, with Daniel showing off his skills by setting the hooks and fighting them expertly. Between the Walleye, we also started picking up some chunky Perch, making for a nice mixed bag.

The bite stayed strong throughout the day, with us landing a solid number of both species. In addition to the Walleye and Perch, we even managed to boat a few Blue Catfish, which put up a great fight on our light tackle gear. The weather held out beautifully, with the clouds clearing to a bright, sunny afternoon, making for a super comfortable day on the water.
